What Will Coaching Do For Me?

Coaching is a partnership of equals in which you bring the content and I bring the supporting structure. My job isn't to show up with all the answers or tell you what to do. I observe, provide perspective and reflection, and ask the essential questions that will help you uncover what you truly need to do to make real and lasting progress on your biggest challenges. I make sure we have all the data we need to fully understand your current situation. We work shoulder to shoulder in planning your next steps and tuning the approach until you are achieving the outcomes you are looking for. My extensive experience as a senior tech executive, entrepreneur, teacher and trained coach means you won't have to waste valuable time explaining too many things to me. I already get it: the pressures, demands, uncertainties and opportunities you live with.

How does this work?

After an initial no-fee exploratory conversation, I typically work on a retainer basis for a period of four to twelve months. We meet at whatever frequency works best for you, usually 2 to 3 times a month, either by phone, video, or in person. You have access to me in between these scheduled sessions via email, shorter calls, or text.

Who hires you?

Your organization may hire me as you would any outside consultant; alternatively, some individuals prefer to hire me directly.

How do we get started?

It's important at the outset to determine if your situation is best addressed through coaching and if there's a good fit between me and you or your organization. If you are at the point that you are seriously considering coaching, the next step is to request to schedule a call where we can explore those questions.

Why should I choose to work with you?

One way to answer this question is to look at my experience and credentials which you can find here on the About page. If you have additional questions you'd like to send me, you are welcome to do so on my Contact Page. As mentioned above, before we agree on a coaching engagement, we will have an exploratory discussion in which we will both learn about each other and determine if there is a good basis for us to work together.
